Join us at our FIRST CHEF'S BBQ THROWDOWN & CAR SHOW to provide scholarships to local students! This FREE event is a unique version of a classic event. We're grabbing some of the best chefs and cooks from great restaurants across the valley and telling them to get behind a pit and produce the best BBQ for $2,500 in cash prizes!! The event itself is FREE to attend but if you would like to sample BBQ from teams, wristbands are avaialble for $15.

The cook-off is by invitation only led by a Chef/Head Cook and connected with a restaurant who will be judged in the following categories: beef brisket, chicken, pork ribs, and chef's choice. There is no competition entry fee. Meat (except for chef's choice) will be provided by The Greater Mission Chamber of Commerce.
The event is FREE to attend but to sample BBQ from teams the cost will be $15.00 per person for a wristband, which will allow attendees to sample BBQ from all cooking teams. The event will include musical performances throughout the evening by Matt & The Herdsmen, Matthew Aaron Band, Midnight Run, a car show, food vendors, and artisan market.
The Greater Mission Chamber of Commerce is excited to continue our partnership with our school districts for our Annual Chef's BBQ Throwdown & Car Show. This event supports students who are furthering their education by participating in any of the E-STEAM programs (Entrepreneurship, Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics). With your help and with funds generated from this event, we plan to help students with scholarships that will assist in achieving their educational goals in these fields.
